Renée Bang, Voice
Renée Bang is an actress, singer, musician, teacher and writer who made her professional debut in the cast of the first international tour of Grand Hotel – The Musical, directed by 9-time Tony Award® winner, Tommy Tune. She made her Broadway debut playing the flute, saxophone and triangle as “Joanne/Sarah” in the John Doyle directed revival of Stephen Sondheim’s, Company (2007 Tony Award® Winner – Best Revival). Off Broadway she starred in Secrets of A Soccer Mom, directed by 2-time Tony Award® winner Judith Ivey. On TV she costarred in Blue Bloods (CBS) and has been featured in several regional and national on-camera and print commercial campaigns. She has had featured and starring roles in several indie shorts and full length films. When she’s not performing, Renée is busy teaching voice and vocal performance at MMDA in Manasquan, NJ as well as on-camera technique for professional performers at JSAC in Ocean Grove, NJ. Her original musical “54,” based on infamous events from the notorious discotheque, Studio 54, is currently in development for Broadway. She is creator, founder and director of the collective…an industry think-tank for performing artists. Renée is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, AFM and CWA.
